Privacy Notice
Smart Garden Manager is currently an early beta project operated by Stoyan as an individual based in Bulgaria. Privacy contact: [email protected].
What the beta signup may collect
- Email address, required to join the waitlist and receive beta access updates.
- Optional growing context, selected from a fixed multiple-choice list.
- Optional hardware prototype interest, separate from beta access consent.
- Optional product news preference, separate and unchecked by default.
- Signup timestamp, consent preferences, and basic security logs if generated by the server or hosting provider.
The first signup scope does not include payment data, names, phone numbers, free-text notes, precise home or garden location, plant photos, sensitive personal data, or data about children.
How the data is used
Signup data is used to manage the beta waitlist, contact people about beta access, understand broad growing contexts, keep the signup system secure, and handle deletion, access, correction, export, or unsubscribe requests.
We do not sell signup data.
Retention and deletion
Inactive or uncontacted waitlist entries should be deleted after 6 months unless the person has joined the beta, separately opted into product news, requested no-contact suppression, or there is another valid reason to keep a minimal record.
People can request deletion by contacting [email protected]. Backups may retain deleted data for a limited time until backup rotation completes.
Security posture
The beta is planned around minimal data collection, HTTPS, restricted admin access, secrets outside git, encrypted email-at-rest storage, access-controlled backups, and a deletion/export process before launch.
Launch note
Before public signup collection, provider details for hosting, email, database, backups, and any mirror workflow must be reviewed and reflected in the production notice.
